You may have noticed a trend in my blogging posts lately… a lot of mini quilts, that have been sewn for various Instagram swaps that I’ve participated in. The latest one I completed was for the Cotton and Steel Mini Swap.
I had been excited to try the Sew On & Sew On block from the Fat Quarter Shop Snapshots Sew-Along. It seemed the perfect block to turn into a mini quilt for this swap. It was fun and easy to make, and I can’t wait to make another for my own studio.
I personalized this mini for my partner- purple fabric because it’s her favorite color, a scrappy binding since she loves scrappy, and a fussy cut Tennessee to represent the state where she lives. I used matchstick quilting to quilt it all together.
This picture was taken while I was on vacation, on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan. I’m so glad I brought my good camera along for the day!

Once upon a time…

I started a blog. This is a tale of my projects, goals, and dreams. Thank you for taking a moment to stop by. I hope you have a beautiful day.
