I saw this picture on one of the entries for the Epic Room Makeover, and I just about lost it. I don’t what it is about this picture + the phrase, but it totally tickled my funny bone, and I have been saying “ermagersh” all week. So have my kids. And then we all laugh and giggle because it is so funny. So thanks Alicia at The Creative Vault for giving us such a laugh this week. Ermagersh. And check out her submission. Even though we’re “competitors,” her post is hilarious.

I literally thought there was no WAY I could say yes, since I live a long way from Utah, but my husband was so sweet and really wanted me to have this experience, so he totally made it happen for me (love ya T-roy). So, I’m traveling out to SLC in October to attend the coolest sewing + blogging conference eva! I’m super excited just to attend (tickets to the conference sold out within a few hours), and completely honored to get to speak. So if any of YOU are going, please tell me so I can meet you! If anyone is interested in my class, here’s the little blurb from the agenda. Plus, I’ll be having an awesome giveaway! 🙂
In other news… I just entered blogland’s biggest and best giveaway ever. It’s the Epic Room Makeover Giveaway at Vintage Revivals! I pretty much dream about it every night! You guys… will you help me? I just need your votes! I promise it’s painless. This is all you have to do…

Ok… in normal news…
We had a really low key Labor Day weekend. It was lovely. My husband took the kids on an ultimate daddy date. They went to Chuck E Cheese, a movie, ice cream, and swimming. I stayed home and cleaned and sewed! That doesn’t happen very so I totally loved it, and so did they. Sunday night we had a fire and marshmallow roast in our backyard. Our home’s previous owners left this fire pit, and we sure love it. Then we accomplished the last thing from our summer bucketlist… we had family movie night on our trampoline. It was the best!
My girls and I hosted an “End of Summer Tea Party.”
They were in charge of helping me with the food and decorations. They did great!
