Tonight we shall feast upon Spider Cider and Witch’s Brew before our little ghouls go out haunting and begging for candy.
I’m so excited. We have a Corpse Bride, and Rainbow Butterfly, and an Amish Boy.
We’ve had fun celebrating Halloween all month. Below are some pictures of our food and decorations, my 5K night run, and our trip to Salem, Massachusetts.
To make Spider Cider, warm up your favorite apple cider recipe, then add plastic spiders and make a festive sign. I found spider goblets at Michaels for $.50.
For Witch’s Brew, make your favorite batch of soup (you could even make it an orange butternut or a black bean soup to be extra festive. I went with a vegetable chowder). Then I put my pot directly into a cauldron and make a sign. The food is all made… I can’t wait to warm it up and eat tonight before we go into the cold for trick-or-treating!

Salem, MA! That’s right, a few weeks ago we took a trip out to Boston to visit my sister and her family. We took a day trip to Salem, and it was the neatest place. We loved it.
We went to a small production about the witch trials that took place in Salem.
We visited a Witch House.
It wasn’t scary or haunted like we thought it would be.
In Boston, we visited the neatest cemetaries. I thought these were cool Halloween-ish pictures.

On Saturday night, I ran a 5K with some of my gal pals. It was called the Fright Night, but wasn’t spooky at all. Still fun though!
