This morning I taught my children the Pledge of Allegiance and we talked about what it means to live in a free country, and what the United States is. I told them about when I was little and my dad was a soldier who fought for our country in a war. (see tribute to my father here). My kids loved it. Here is what we created to celebrate our soldiers. It’s nothin’ fancy, but fits my motto, “cheap, quick, simple, and easy!” Today we honor those who protect us!
